This cute little Chihuahua-cross is a ball of energy.
Just in case we are going to play with the ball or go for a run,
little Ellie is always ready. The ball especially is such fun
so we never say no to that! There is nothing better in life,
although a run in the park comes very close.

About Painted Pets paintings

I started painting animal portraits under the name Painted Pets in 2006. My portraits are by commission and are painted only from photographs. The works are realistic but composed and painted in a contemporary style. Rich vibrant colours are built into many layers to create the depth required to capture an individual character and personality.

Each portrait is hand-painted on double-primed stretched canvas with a 38 mm profile. I use only artist quality materials (these have the strongest, most lustrous and stable colours). Your painting has painted edges so framing isn't required (unless you choose to do so). All works are light weight and ready to hang.
